Uses

Observations and Anecdotal Information
Grape seed is very high in nutrients. It contains particularly high levels of vitamin E. It is over 60% Omega 6 EFA, one of the highest in this nutrient. Modern research indicates that the optimal dietary ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 should be anywhere between 1:1 up to 10:1.
This cold-pressed oil is a wonderful carrier oil for massage blends, heart and cardiovascular blends, and brain blends.
Grape seed oil is nourishing to the hair and scalp. When massaged into the scalp before shampooing, it can relieve dandruff and dryness. It strengthens the hair shafts and brings life to dull, damaged, or tired hair. In some cases it has been known to help restore hair loss.
Grape seed oil is a deep moisturizer, and can help maintain skin elasticity to prevent premature aging skin and wrinkles. It helps tone and tighten skin, and relieves dryness. It makes a wonderful addition to cremes, oil blends, and lotions for regenerating skin.
