Observations and Anecdotal Information
Rosalina essential oil has been one of my favorite Australian oils. Though its uses are similar to tea tree, it offers a very different sensual experience.
It has such a mild and appealing aroma that most children, even very small children, find it likable. Massage therapists often choose rosalina (in proper dilution!) for infant massage, as it is very mild and its effects are instantly relaxing and centering for an infant in distress.
Rosalina essential oil is an immune system booster, very helpful for relieving the symptoms associated with flu, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis, and other infectious conditions.
It is also cicatrizant, making it good for applying to wounds, scar tissue, burns, and radiation burns.
Used with massage, it can move lymph stagnation and relieve associated pain and blockage in record time.
It can also be used for treating vaginal infections, by applying a few drops of oil to a tampon and inserting it for overnight. Try this carefully until you know how much sensation you will be able to handle. Some sensitive people find it too intense.
