Observations and Anecdotal Information

Yarrow essential oil is gentle and beautiful. It’s deep blue color is indicative of azulene content, which is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory.

It is a blood cleanser that helps the liver filter toxins and lowers blood pressure. It helps cleanse the liver from heavy metals, petrochemical miasm, and radiation damage.

A great way to use this oil is to apply it in dilution to the solar plexus and liver area, coating it lightly.  Repeat this treatment once a week for several months, to support liver regeneration.

For extreme cases of liver toxicity, you may wish to alternate this treatment with an application of Rhassoul, Pascalite, or French green clay mixed with warm water, to help draw toxic accumulation out of the tissues.

The oil will begin to penetrate at once when applied. Soak a towel in hot water, wring it out, and place it on top of the abdomen where the oil was applied. Cover with another dry towel, and sit or lie still for 10 to 20 minutes while the warmth and moisture drive the essential oil into the body tissues.

Yarrow essential oil can also be used in the bath to relax muscles and detoxify. A few drops will go a long way, so use sparingly. You will feel relaxed and ready to sleep when you come out of the bath!

Finally, yarrow is a very good choice for treating wounds, helping to stop bleeding. It also relieves the pain of cuts and injuries.
