Australian balm mint essential oil is used for inhalation, as a remedy for colds, flu, bronchitis, and sinus infections. It is also great for neutralizing environmental toxicity, molds, and bacteria through diffusion.
It is also effective for some types of headaches and migraines, and can be inhaled or applied topically (properly diluted) for that purpose.
It can also be used to remedy heartburn and indigestion, when taken at semi-homeopathic dosages. One single drop in 8-16 oz. of water is sufficient, using 1 tablespoon of this mix as a dose. A small amount of sweetener can be added for improving the flavor.
If you work on your feet all day, or sitting in an office where stagnation can set in, it is a great addition to a hot bath. It is both rejuvenating and relaxing to muscles–it will leave you refreshed and energized.
