Hyssop decumbens essential oil is anti-infectious, making a a great treatment to relieve the symptoms of colds, flu, viruses, and bacterial infections. It can be applied to the spine as a spinal compress, with heat, to relieve achiness, fever, and congestion.
It can also be diffused and inhaled to relieve coughing and dissolve mucus in the nose, sinuses, and respiratory system.
It is a great herbal alternative when treating a vaginal infection. Use several drops of hyssop decumbens essential oil on a tampon, inserted overnight. It is wise to test first with a tiny drop of oil to make sure you can handle the sensation. Some people find it too intense.
It is a general immune system enhancer, strengthening the immune response in any kind of infection or compromised situation.

This oil is generally regarded as safe at normal doses.
Use cautiously with pregnant and lactating mothers, and small children. Avoid use with infants.
