$21.80
Mixed Spruce Hydrosol
Our spruce hydrosol, a mixture of Engelmann spruce and other local species, is not a by-product of essential oil manufacturing. It is produced from the spruce needles, with a substantial amount of essential oil left in the hydrosol.
This is a beautiful, high quality aromatic product suitable for therapeutic use.
It can be sprayed on skin, face, or feet. It refreshes and tones the skin, and carries the aroma of a sacred plant. It is emotionally soothing and spiritually uplifting.
It makes an excellent water base for skin toners, or medicinal skin sprays to treat rashes and skin conditions.
It also makes a great spray for relieving coughs, nasal congestion, and sore throats. It can be combined with essential oils for that purpose, including myrtle, vanilla, and benzoin.

Spruce is a radiant evergreen tree that grows predominantly across much of Utah’s and Arizona’s wild mountains. Because this hydrosol is distilled at a high elevation, the temperature required to reach the boiling point is lower.
The resulting hydrosol is less distorted by heat exposure, and has an aroma that is true to the plant’s natural scent. Its aroma is reminiscent of a spruce forest just after a rainstorm.
Local indigenous peoples have used spruce for smudging and cleansing ceremonies. It facilitates the cleansing of environmental negativity and of the human energy field. For those who are sensitive to smoke, a hydrosol spray can cleanse energy fields and clear negativity in homes, rooms, and workplaces.
Spruce has also been used traditionally as a tea for cleansing kidneys, and settling the digestive system.
Spray it on wounds, rashes, or infected skin to help heal and clear it up quickly.
