Havozo Essential Oil
Price range: $9.30 through $42.60
Havozo essential oil’s aroma is unique and enjoyable to most people. Similar to the essential oil distilled from leaves of of it’s close relative, Ravensare aromatica, havozo oil has a pleasant, sweet anise like note that makes it smell less medicinal and a little more appealing to the average nose. It’s aroma relieves depression and helps anxiety and stress. It helps insomnia, and can be diffused for that purpose. Energetically, it calms fear, anguish, and panic. It helps one increase the desire for positive change. It can help dissolve the paralysis of fear and insecurity, and stimulate the courage to take action toward that change.

Observations and Anecdotal Information
The havozo tree is a close relative of ravensare aromatica, which produces ravensare essential oil. It has many similar properties, with the addition of a sweet, anise like, licorice candy note to the aroma.
Havozo oil supports bone regeneration, and has been shown to strengthen bone deterioration when used consistently.
For those who are regenerating a calcium depleted bone condition, I would suggest considering this method: Apply havozo essential oil externally, and take an internal semi-homeopathic supplement of havozo or ravensare, along with a daily herbal tea of horsetail, nettles, and comfrey root. For further support, take a daily liquid magnesium supplement such as Calm Plus.
Havozo is also one of the strongest anti-viral essential oils, effective against shingles, herpes, viral hepatitis, and meningitis. It is useful as a great treatment for influenza and viral attacks.
It is a gall bladder tonic, and stimulates the production of bile.
Havozo essential oil has also been used for reducing the symptoms of allergies and asthma. Diffuse or apply havozo as a compress to the spine or chest, as described here.
