Khus Shahi Attar
$35.45
Khus shahi attar is a rare and beautiful aromatic from India. Inhaling its wonders, one can go on a journey, like plunging slowly into a deep ocean of aroma. Each level gradually reveals a new note, and at the end, the depth evolves into a light and delicate floral–one finds oneself back where the journey began!
The energetic qualities of khus shahi attar help us see beneath the surface of things. It helps us learn to find balance between opposites, and to find a neutral center where all possibilities are viable. We can more easily release the judgements that keep us from being fluid.
Attars are pure, steam distilled essential oils that are traditionally distilled in copper degs. They are distilled into a sandalwood oil receiver, or in the case of khus attars, into a vetiver essential oil receiver.
They contain the essential oil of a single species, or a group of species which are co- distilled. Most of them have been distilled in the same way, using time honored recipes, for hundreds of years or longer.
The prices of these rare natural substances reflect the difficulty and time invested in producing them.
