Note: Traditionally carrot is extracted from the seed of wild carrot, also known as Queen Anne’s Lace. A different oil is extracted from the root of the domestic carrot plant. This oil is traditionally considered a carrier oil, but it’s aromatic strength reflects the consistent usage of carrot oil in aromatic blends. It is also used used predominantly in facial cremes, serums, anti-aging and moisturizing blends. Carrot root oil can also be used internally for rebuilding liver and nourishing the digestive system.
