Blue sage is a bushy plant that grows predominantly across much of Utah’s and Arizona’s wild lands. Our hydrosol is distilled at a high elevation and low temperature.
The resulting hydrosol is less distorted by heat exposure, and has an aroma that is true to the plant’s natural scent. It smells exactly like the heavenly aromatic gift that is released by picking a sagebrush leaf and rubbing it between your fingers!
Local indigenous peoples have used this particular species of sage for smudging ceremonies. It facilitates the cleansing of environmental energy and of the human energy field.
Our blue sage hydrosol makes a wonderful “smokeless smudge” for clearing negative energy in rooms and spaces. It is also excellent for smudging people, by spraying it lightly around the head, hands, and anywhere that negativity has collected.
Children and sensitive people can use this hydrosol, even if they normally have a reaction to the smoke of a real smudge. This offers a great alternative for sensitive people.
