Observations and Anecdotal Information
I love using this oil as a flavorant for hot teas and cold drinks! It is really tasty in water with a drop of stevia. Drinking it this way helps to alkalinize the blood and boost the immune system.
It is a tonic and restorative, raising the energy of the physical body and helping to relieve fatigue and weakness.
It is antiviral and antiseptic, and helps boost the immune system. It has anti-sclerotic properties (the ability to reverse hardening of tissues, including scar tissue and blood vessels).
For hardening of tissues–use in a bath and/or massage on a daily basis.
As an internal tonic, it adds a very pleasant taste to a juice or tea. It can also be used in tonic formulas to relieve stagnation and lighten the flavor of medicinal herbs.
It is a blood alkalizer, and balances acid conditions. It will help those with candida conditions when taken every day and supported with dietary change.
Lime essential oil has a long term tonic capability. It can be used as a food without detrimental effects.
